Step and Fetch It

mantra

1 hop..Two hops..Three

A Rhumba groove…. A beat…Viva la mi!

A twist of my thigh, and a hard jiggle of flesh..

My heel points and ankle rises

Right leg stretched high…

My neck reaches behind me

Back bent and breast arched

Sweat glitters on my exposed shoulders

Up I bounce…Shimmy Shimmy..Cha Cha Cha..

Click back right..Click back left…. Up right..Up left

Bend forward now RISE-

(Smile)..Flounce your hair.. Shimmy Shimmy..Cha Cha Cha..

I shake

I twist

I step

I grab and take it..

A final bow..and I leave the stage

damp and scorched

…….breathless and rich.
